Heaven Macpherson-Hnatiuk: Bio

Originally from Prattville, Alabama, Heaven Macpherson is a professional voiceover artist / model / actress based out of New York City. Heaven is a proud graduate of The Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theater, but her distinguished career began as a young child when she received classical ballet training at the renowned Alabama Dance Theater. It was there that Heaven was showcased as a dance protégé, quickly ascending to excellence earning scholarships and accolades as a soloist throughout the southeast.

At the age of 13, Heaven was unexpectedly discovered at a local mall by a FOX Television executive, and was hand picked out of a mob of thousands of eagerly aspiring kids only to be hired as a television host for the FOX Pack – A Saturday Morning episodic TV series showcasing teen movie comedies and dramas. While diligently balancing her dance and scholastic responsibilities, this local rising TV star and daughter of an accomplished musician was also gaining recognition for her musical talents as a recipient of the John Phillip Sousa Award for Trumpet performance. It was right around the same time that Heaven was asked by Hollywood talent scouts to appear as a majorette in the Tony Richardson feature film “Blue Sky” starring Tommy Lee Jones and Jessica Lang.

Later that year, Heaven was just 14 when she received word that Ford Model Management wanted to sign her to an exclusive contract. By the age of 15, Heaven had moved to New York City and split her time between Miami, Los Angeles, Paris, and Milan appearing in internationally acclaimed magazines and Times Square billboards for Vogue, Glamour, Fitness, Cosmopolitan, W and more. Her clients include Maybelline, Garnier Nutrisse, Benetton, Slim Fast, Alberta Ferretti, Versace, Oscar de la Renta, Calvin Klein, Nicole Miller, and many more…

After nearly a decade of success in front of the camera, Heaven revisited her roots by stepping behind the microphone as a classic rock DJ for WXFX FM 95.1 in Montgomery, AL. Still there was more to be done as Heaven followed the path of her guitar hero father by landing jobs at major labels like Atlantic Records and even later playing an integral role in the launch of the now hugely successful Red Bull Records & Studios in Santa Monica, CA. Before wrapping up a managerial position at PRETTYBIRD Productions in Culver City, CA, a friend convinced her to come back to New York City to pursue an opportunity in the fit modeling industry.

Within 48 hours of hearing about the opportunity, Heaven was on a plane back to New York City and landed an exclusive contract with the popular fashion label Cache that led to a surge of clients that continues to grow. Represented by MSA Models, Heaven is quickly becoming one of the most sought after fit models in the industry, with clients ranging from Kiki DeMontparnasse, Carolina Herrera, Cache, New York & Co, Kmart, Target Swimwear, Ann Taylor and more… Heaven continues to make colorful television appearances on behalf of her clients from being a guest host for MTV Germany to featuring on ABC’s Good Morning America and The View for Victoria’s Secret to appearing on NBC’s The Today Show for Lancome.

At the same time of Heaven’s modeling resurgence, she got back behind the microphone and became a player in one of the most lucrative jobs in entertainment: voice over acting. Represented by the high powered William Morris Agency, Heaven landed a recurring role on the award winning animated series Archer on FX followed by a slew of other big name shows including Cartoon Network’s Pokemon, HBO’s Boardwalk Empire and most recently, True Detective. Additionally, Heaven is the voice of Red Bull, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and Rene Furterer.

Heaven is also an avid gourmet home chef, happily married and cooking for her author / voice over actor / music supervisor / sound designer husband Dave Hnatiuk, with whom she’s writing a unique cookbook with as she adoringly cares for her 10 year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel “Bentley” aka “BoJangels” aka “Son”.
